nymph(o):

Issue 2

Issue 2 focuses on the experience of queer artists amidst the current, hateful anti-trans/anti-woman/anti-gay society we are living in. It also explores the many abstract ways queer people— despite it all—are coping, coming together, and creating futures that center queer joy as a way to combat hate.

nymph(o):

Issue 1.5

nymph(o) was inspired by a 1980s erotic magazine called On Our Backs, and it aims to examine contemporary issues affecting the queer community under patriarchy such as mental health, police brutality, and the ongoing presence of attacks against marginal groups. However, there is also an emphasis placed on sex-positivty, as nymph(o) represents and celebrates the contemporary queer population in affirming ways. This issue was launched based on reader feedback of nymph(o)’s first issue, which launched five months prior. Meant to be an enhanced version of issue one, issue 1.5 contextualizes the original goals for the publication.
